Elly Hardesty

Registered Equine Veterinary Nurse / Practice Administrator
Elly has had a lifelong ambition to work with horses and she joined us in 2007 after working at Chapelfield Vets Norwich Branch and at a livery yard. Elly has a National Diploma in animal care from Easton College. At home, life still revolves around horses as she enjoys competing in cross country, showjumping and showing her Connamaras. Elly also helps with the care and education of young horses for a local yard.

Natasha joined the team in summer 2016, after completing a level 3 extended diploma and a level 2 work-based diploma in equine management, at Easton College. Tash is currently studying for her Equine Veterinary Nurse Qualifications. Tash loves biology, anything to do with the anatomy and physiology of the horse. When not working with horses, she enjoys eventing, showjumping and cross country with her horse Elise.

Jess Taylor

Equine Nursing Assistant / Student Veterinary Nurse
Jess studied at Easton College gaining an Extended Diploma in Agriculture in 2016, worked in horse rescue and at a veterinary surgery before joining our equine team. As a student veterinary nurse, Jess is back at studying at Easton College whilst advancing her practical knowledge of equine nursing at the clinic. Out of work, Jess enjoys riding her horse Rosie, North Walsham Young Farmers and her Highland cows.  

Julie Stockton

Nursing Assistant/Administrator
Julie joined the practice in the summer of 2012. As well as helping out with equine nursing duties, Julie keeps the whole equine clinic in tip-top shape and good working order! In her spare time, she has taken her love for horses to South Norfolk Pony Club where she teaches fellow equine enthusiasts. Along with her family at home, Julie looks after two horses, two dogs, four cats and some chickens.

Helen started with the practice in September 2008. She has two working dogs, three rescued ferrets and two children. She enjoys the countryside and horse riding when she gets a chance.
Rosie Castle

Nursing Assistant / Reception
Rosie joined the Practice in March 2017 and has recently achieved her Animal Nursing Assistant (ANA) qualification. She also holds a Level 3 National Award in Animal Management and has 10 years' experience of volunteering with the RSPCA, nursing both companion animals and wildlife. She is married with a grown-up son and has 2 rescued dogs, a Whippet X and a Staffie X; she enjoys taking them for long walks in her spare time.

Animal Nursing Assistant / Reception
Sally joined the Costessey practice as a receptionist in October 2017, having worked as a trainee veterinary nurse in her early twenties. Sally has 2 daughters, one is training as a veterinary nurse. Also has many pets including 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 rabbits, a pony and over 20 chickens! She enjoys nature and walking with her dogs.

Alison started at Costessey in 2005, she lives with her partner and also her cat called “Fanny”. She is interested in complementary therapies in companion animals and has undertaken training in canine physiotherapy and T- touch therapy. Alison is also our qualified first aider.

Michelle gained a level 3 National Diploma in Animal Management before becoming a registered veterinary nurse. She is particularly interested in anaesthesia, emergency and critical care and behaviour. When not at work Michelle enjoys family time and her German shepherd and chihuahua!

Katy has joined us as a student veterinary nurse after a career as a registered dental nurse for ten years. She is particularly interested in hydrotherapy, wildlife rehabilitation and dentistry. At home, Katy has two mastiffs and a cat called Dave and enjoys being outdoors, walking and camping.

 Nicole qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2011 and then completed a degree in wildlife biology and a diploma in animal behaviour. She enjoys riding her horse Darcy and walking Buddy the dog.

Krissy joined us in 2012 and has a National Diploma in Animal Management which she passed with triple distinction! she thoroughly enjoys working with animals and has a particular interest in young animals, puppies and kittens, post operative care and anaesthetics. At home Krissy has two cats and a dog. When not at work, she enjoys snowboarding & music and is passionate about animal welfare and the environment.

Helen Gent

Helen has been at Chapelfield Norwich since 1992. She is Joint Head Nurse and has an NVQ in animal care. She enjoys working with animals and the challenges this can bring. Helen has one cat called tiger who has mastered the art of opening the fridge door at home! In her spare time Helen enjoys arts, textiles and design.

Ros Hale

After starting as a volunteer Ros is now a permanent member of staff. She has completed an animal care course and dog grooming course at City College and has Animal Nursing Assistant Feline Behaviour level 1. Ros has taken on three cats: Ollie, Alfie and Petal all of whom came into CVP as injured strays. outside of work,apart from studying Ros enjoys playing the piano and watching films.

Kim has loved animals since a child. She studied at Easton College for an NVQ Animal Care and a 1st Diploma in Animal Care and joined CVP in 1998. I love being with my family, my pets and my friends, making them smile gives me so much joy.

Letitia Cossey

Letitia has been working at CVP since 2007, when she took on the role of veterinary nurse assistant to cover maternity leave. This later became a permanent position and the following year she started training to become a qualified nurse, qualifying as an RVN in December 2010. Out of working hours, Letitia enjoys horse riding and spending time with her rescue dog Poppy, cat Arnie and Rabbit Maisie.

Phoebe Burton-White

Phoebe started work experience with us in 2017 and joined the team as a trainee nursing assistant in 2018. Phoebe's ambition has always been to care for animals and she grew up surrounded by family pets; from dogs and cats to stick insects and an African land snail!  In her spare time, she enjoys caring for her current pets and making sure they have everything they need.

Hailey started working at CVP full time in 2003. Shortly after being employed her veterinary nurse training started and became a qualified and registered veterinary nurse in 2006. She then became Senior Veterinary Nurse in 2008. Outside of work she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and going on long walks with her Alaskan Malamute Dakota. She also regularly shows him and he is on his way to becoming a UK Show Champion.

Eloise has been working at CVP since 2006 as a Veterinary Nurse Assistant. Previous to this I studied at Easton College doing Animal Care and Animal Management. Outside of work I like to spend time with my family and friends.

Jess Keeler

Jess has been working at Chapelfield Veterinary Practice since 2009. After spending some time on reception she moved, into studing to become a veterinary nurse where she successfully qualified. In her sparetime Jess enjoys watching and participating in motorsport. She also enjoys going for long walks with her rambunctious collie cross, Buster.
