Dr Mary de Las Casas BVSc CertEP PgC(SAM) MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon

I first came to know Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership when in 1995  I started seeing practice here as a school student. I saw practice through university and returned to Chapelfield to start my first job in mixed practice here in 2003. Since that time, I have worked in Namibia, New Zealand and Newmarket, I have taught on a Veterinary Nursing course and have had several maternity leaves. Each time I have always found myself coming back to Chapelfield.

I work part time as a small animal GP vet at Long Stratton. I have particular interests in imaging and medicine and enjoy working with clients to give the best care I can for our animal patients. Supporting our New Graduate Vets is also very important to me and I enjoy mentoring them through their first years in practice.

Outside of work I have a busy family life and enjoy running, swimming and cricket. I also work as an EQA on a Veterinary nursing course and am on the RCVS GDP committee working on improving support of New Graduates in or profession.
