Kathy grew up in Norfolk with a farming background. Along with a passiong for riding, horses have always been in her life. After graduating from University of Edinburgh Veterinary School she was keen to settle back in Norfolk. Kathy also has a degree in Bioveterinary Science from Liverpool vet school. In 2019 kathy was promoted to Clinical Director.

Rachael grew up on a farm in Norfolk. She has had a passion and love for horses all her life. In 2015 she graduated from the University of Liverpool. In her spare time, Rachael enjoys showjumping her horses both in a competive and non-competive setting. Rachael also enjoys skiing, socialising with friends and walking her lovely dogs.

Elly has had a lifelong ambition to work with horses and she joined us in 2007 after working at Chapelfield Vets Norwich Branch and at a livery yard. Elly has a National Diploma in animal care from Easton College. At home, life still revolves around horses as she enjoys competing in cross country, showjumping and showing her Connamaras. Elly also helps with the care and education of young horses for a local yard.

Natasha joined the team in summer 2016, after completing a level 3 extended diploma and a level 2 work-based diploma in equine management, at Easton College. Tash is currently studying for her Equine Veterinary Nurse Qualifications. Tash loves biology, anything to do with the anatomy and physiology of the horse. When not working with horses, she enjoys eventing, showjumping and cross country with her horse Elise.

Julie Stockton

Nursing Assistant/Administrator
Julie joined the practice in the summer of 2012. As well as helping out with equine nursing duties, Julie keeps the whole equine clinic in tip-top shape and good working order! In her spare time, she has taken her love for horses to South Norfolk Pony Club where she teaches fellow equine enthusiasts. Along with her family at home, Julie looks after two horses, two dogs, four cats and some chickens.

Jess Taylor

Debra joined the team in 2013. She is has a busy family life and at home has a pony a dog a duck and three cats! In her spare time she can be found walking the dog and spectating at her children's football matches.

Emily gained her NVQ qualification in horse care studing at Easton and Otley College. After that, she worked for four years as a groom before joining Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership at our Equine Clinic. When Emily is not at work, she enjoys walking with her partner Matt and her two dogs, Fen and Rufus. She also enjoys eating out at the many great restaurants in Norfolk!

Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
Leslie moved from Oregon in the USA to Glasgow Veterinary School in 1994 following completion of a 4 year BSc degree at Oregon State University. After qualifying as a vet in 1999 she worked for 6 months in an equine practice in Essex before starting work as a mixed vet at Long Stratton. Leslie spends her few moments of freedom each week with her dogs.

Dumitrita (Dee Dee) joined the Chapelfield Vets team as a locum in 2017. After a year she became a permanent member of staff. She graduated from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Bucharest in 2011 and recently gained her master's degree in Applied Microbiology and Immunology from Faculty of Biology Bucharest. She has two black and white cats, Luna and kitten Trevor, whom she rescued as a three-legged stray.

Dr Olivia Turley

Growing up in Canada, she completed a degree in environment and anthropology. Spring 2018, she completed her veterinary medicine degree in Dublin. Olivia enjoys the ever-changing nature of genuine mixed animal practice and working as part of a large dynamic team. When not at work she enjoys riding her bike, cinema going, reading in a café, or doing crossfit!

Ed gained his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cambridge, having grown up on a busy family farm in North Wales, with dairy cattle, sheep and a livery yard. He is looking forward to the challenges of the varied clinical work within mixed practice. Outside of work, Ed enjoys anything active, from training for triathlons to exploring the bounties of the Norfolk coast.

Harriet enjoys walking and comes to Norfolk looking forward to exploring a new stretch of coast the line. Accompanied by her other half and one unruly Sheltie, they love to hike around the Norfolk Broads.

Andrew qualified in 1988 from Cambridge University and worked at Wood Green Animal Shelter , before moving to Glastonbury. In 1992 he joined Chapelfield Vets and worked alongside his father, Oliver Illing for 9 years until his retirement. In 2002 the Costessey surgery was expanded. Andrew is married and has two children a cat called Blotch and a dog named Charlie. He is interested in all animals and loves Norfolk and Norfolk wildlife.

David qualified in 1980 and then worked in mixed practice for seven years. He then had five years at the Royal Veterinary College running a first opinion Vet Hospital. David is a Clinical Dermatologist and a Pathologist.

Sally joined the Costessey practice as a receptionist in October 2017, having worked as a trainee veterinary nurse in her early twenties. Sally has 2 daughters, one is training as a veterinary nurse. Also has many pets including 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 rabbits, a pony and over 20 chickens! She enjoys nature and walking with her dogs.

Steve qualified from Edinburgh Veterinary School in 1997 and joined the practice as a new graduate. Steve is responsible for running the farm animal side of the practice and is actively involved in routine fertility work, preventive health care and herd health programs with many of our farm animal clients. Steve is married to Veterinary Surgeon Mary de Las Casas.

He joined the Chapelfield Livestock team in 2019. When not at work, Christos spends his time; working out, riding motorbikes, reading, watching movies and spending time with friends.

Charlotte qualified in 2006 from the Royal Veterinary College with a distinction for her thesis on gait analysis in three legged dogs. After 4 years in mixed practice she moved to CVP Wymondham to further her small animal career. Charlotte enjoys medicine and surgery and is currently completing a Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice in Diagnostic Imaging. She has a special interest in radiography and ultrasonography.

Ruth Howe started working at Chapelfield Vets in the summer of 2011. Ruth qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2008. Ruth is interested in all areas of small animal practice and is recently enrolled on the Certificate in Small Animal Practice. At home, Ruth and her husband own a lively black Labrador called Nelson, and Tripod; a three legged cat.

He joined the Chapelfield team in 2018 after spending some time in Greece working with German shepherd dogs and Belgian Malanois, while an army veterinary surgeon. Georgios enjoys all small animal work and is particularly interested in orthopaedics.

Letitia has been working at CVP since 2007, when she took on the role of veterinary nurse assistant to cover maternity leave. This later became a permanent position and the following year she started training to become a qualified nurse, qualifying as an RVN in December 2010. Out of working hours, Letitia enjoys horse riding and spending time with her rescue dog Poppy, cat Arnie and Rabbit Maisie.

Hailey started working at CVP full time in 2003. Shortly after being employed her veterinary nurse training started and became a qualified and registered veterinary nurse in 2006. She then became Senior Veterinary Nurse in 2008. Outside of work she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and going on long walks with her Alaskan Malamute Dakota. She also regularly shows him and he is on his way to becoming a UK Show Champion.

Phoebe Burton-White

Trainee Nursing Assistant
Phoebe started work experience with us in 2017 and joined the team as a trainee nursing assistant in 2018. Phoebe's ambition has always been to care for animals and she grew up surrounded by family pets; from dogs and cats to stick insects and an African land snail!  In her spare time, she enjoys caring for her current pets and making sure they have everything they need.

Kim Wainwright

Nursing Assistant
Kim has loved animals since a child. She studied at Easton College for an NVQ Animal Care and a 1st Diploma in Animal Care and joined CVP in 1998. I love being with my family, my pets and my friends, making them smile gives me so much joy.

Jess Keeler

Nursing Assistant
Jess has been working at Chapelfield Veterinary Practice since 2009. After spending some time on reception she moved, into studing to become a veterinary nurse where she successfully qualified. In her sparetime Jess enjoys watching and participating in motorsport. She also enjoys going for long walks with her rambunctious collie cross, Buster. 

Eloise Buxton

Eloise has been working at CVP since 2006 as a Veterinary Nurse Assistant. Previous to this I studied at Easton College doing Animal Care and Animal Management. Outside of work I like to spend time with my family and friends.

Paula joined our reception tem in March 2018.

Receptionist
Brogan started with the Practice in August 2012 as the evening receptionist. Her role includes typing up medical notes for Ian Jackson and other reception duties. Brogan studied at Easton College where she achieved a National Diploma in Animal Management in 2011. She has a Chihuahua and enjoys doing agility and training with her.

Molly Chatland

Molly joined the Reception team in October 2018.

Emma Lake

Practice Administrator
Emma became Practice Administrator in 2018, after working at CVP since 2010 on reception. She studied at Easton College achieving a Degree in Animal Science and Welfare. Most of her spare time is spent looking after her pet chickens and guinea pig and enjoys baking cakes for her colleagues.

Accounts Administrator
Carey-Anne has worked for Chapelfield Surgery since July 2013. She is responsible for the daily banking and also covers reception/telephone at lunchtime. Outside of work, she enjoys walking as well as watching her two sons playing their various sports. She also enjoys sewing and knitting and travelling when time and money permits!
