Julie Homes - Head Veterinary Nurse
Julie Homes RVN Head Veterinary Nurse

Started at Chapelfield as an evening receptionist May 1997 and then became the Head Receptionist.

I transferred to the nursing deptartment in 2005 after the birth of my daughter, who is now 19! Training as a RVN with Easton College and became the Head Nurse.

I left Chapelfield in 2014 and worked locally at other clinics and as a locum until covid and returned to Chapelfield in 2020 as the Head Nurse.

I help out on occasion with local TNR (Trap - Neuter - Return) or foster kitties which is why I now have 9 cats! (I am the worst foster mama as I keep them) and a total Heinz 57 dog named Murphy.

I also own a small 5 star cattery in South Norfolk which is run by my husband and I.

My passion initially was surgery, especially soft tissue and orthopaedic, but this has now evolved over the recent years to clinics as I enjoy meeting all the lovely clients and their gorgeous pets.

I don't really have much spare time, however I love our dog walks and spending time gardening when I can.
