Nursing Assistant

As a child I was born into a family of animal lovers and grew up with three Labradors, two collie cross dogs one cat and a few other little furry friends too.

My love of animals drove me to study them more, and so in 1994 for my Duke of Edinburgh’s Award I gained experience and assisted at Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership Wymondham for an number of months.

In 1996 I started studying at Easton College and came out with an NVQ Levels 1,2,3 in Animal Care and also a 1st Diploma in Animal Care to which I received a Distinction in Animal Behaviour.

During my education at Easton College, I was pleased that in 1998 Chapelfield offered me a position as a member of the team and then Nurse with responsibility for a number of years before embarking into parenthood in 2008.

Now two wonderful daughters later the Company still cannot get rid of me. I’m still here every Saturday and it’s great.

When at home I’m still keeping busy with my own dog walking and pet sitting services, “Wainwright’s Walkies” which is expanding daily.

I generally never sit still, I love being with my family, my pets and my friends, making them smile gives me so much joy.
