Veterinary Surgeons:

Mr Warwick joined Chapelfield Vets in 1972 as a mixed animal veterinary surgeon. However, since 1992 he has concentrated on small animal work. Spare time pursuits include wining, dining and the cinema.

chantal_dereepere.jpgChantal Dereepere MRCVS

Chantal joined the Chapelfield team in 1987 and has a particular interest in orthopeadic work. When not at work she is kept busy with her two horses and Watson the dog.

trudy_musgrove.jpgTrudy Musgrove BVSc Cert Advanced Veterinary Practice (GP) MRCVS

Trudy has been working for the practice since 1996 and is currently studying for a certificate in veterinary practice management. Trudy has a special interest in the area of cardiology. At home Trudy has a dog, cat and chickens and is a governor of the local primary school.

Monica has worked for the practice since 2005. Monica qualified as a veterinary surgeon in Holland in 1986 and before settling at Chapelfield worked in various small animal practices around the UK. Her interests are soft tissue surgery and alternative medicine.

Monica is studying for the Advanced Veterinary Practice Certificate (GP).

Our nursing team consists of seven members to care for your animals seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Laura Allen

Laura joined the practice on work experience from Easton College whilst studying for her diploma in animal care. She then became our kennel maid and has been our nursing assistant for two years. Laura has two dogs and three cats.

Helen Gent

Helen has been at Chapelfield Norwich for 16 years. She is Head Nurse and has an NVQ in animal care. Helen has two hyperthyroid rescue cats – William and Bubba.

Jessica is also an Easton College girl and has completed her animal care course and one year of a degree course before joining the practice. She has a dog named Fin and too many cats to name!

After starting as a volunteer Ros is now a permanent member of staff. She has completed an animal care course and dog grooming course at City College and has taken on two stray cats ‘Ollie’ and ‘Petal’, one of which is an amputee.

Roz is starting her Animal Nursing Assistant Course at Easton College in September.

Julie has been at Chapelfield for over 10 years. She started as a receptionist, became head receptionist and finally moved in to nursing (at Chantal’s insistence) three years ago. Now, as joint Head Nurse, she helps to keep the ‘Pesky Vets’ in order. Julie has completed Nursing Matters, First Aid and Fire Marshall courses in the last few months and has completed her Animal Nursing Assistant course at Easton College, passed her Key Skills Maths and English and also passed her practical driving test!!!. She has a daughter and five cats – Bootsie, Frank, Geezer, Isobelle and Oscar.

Emmaly is a qualified veterinary nurse who has worked at the practice for six years. She works part time and is kept busy with her family, dog and cats.

Reception:

Andrea started in February 2008 on reception. When not at work she is kept busy by her 2 crazy dogs and 3 rescue ponies – all of whom have got their own version of ‘naughty’ down to a fine art!

Val always fancied being a doctors receptionist however, when she saw a vacancy advertised at Chapelfield she thought it would be the next best thing. Having worked at the branch for 5 1/2 years Val is now sure the vets waiting room is a far happier and more interesting place to be!

I love my job as a receptionist and have been working at the practice for a year. Out of work I enjoy long walks with my two dogs and reading.

Head Receptionist Liz has been at the branch for 10 years as joint head receptionist. At home she spends time with “Starsky” the ginger lion. Liz also enjoys frequent trips to Jersey.

Elaine has worked at the vets as a receptionist for about 5 years. She has 3 daughters, 4 grandchildren, 2 dogs and 2 cats, so enjoys coming to work for a rest!

Celia has been at the branch for 26 years. She enjoys eating out and holidays and takes full advantage of her bus pass!

Sue is one of the longest serving members of staff having worked for the branch for 28years. Sue is well known for her culinary skills and she makes Birthday Cakes for all the staff. Out of work, Sue enjoys a pie and a pint after walking her dog.

Dispensary: Yvette Witham

Yvette has been at Chapelfield for 9 years. At home she has one cat and at weekends she likes getting her leg over her Honda 400! Yvette has recently attained her SQP Small Animals qualification.

Linda has worked at Chapelfield for 4 years in charge of the payroll and purchase ledger. When not at work Linda enjoys singing and tap dancing. She has one cat.

Another long serving member of staff Lesley has worked for Chapelfield for 27 years on reception and small animal accounts. She enjoys darts, shopping and eating out.

Jill has been at the Branch for 17 years. She is in charge of the sales ledger and controls and processes all the receipts. In her spare time Jill enjoys retail therapy, eating out and lots of good holidays.

Accounts: Michelle Cullington

Michelle has worked at the Chapelfield for 2 years doing the purchase ledger and assisting Linda. She has one moggy and is looking forward to being a grandmother.
