Leslie Lehrbach BSc BVMS MRCVS
Director, Mixed Animal Veterinary surgeon
Leslie moved from Oregon in the USA to Glasgow Veterinary School in 1994 following completion of a 4 year BSc degree at Oregon State University. After qualifying as a vet in 1999 she worked for 6 months in an equine practice in Essex before starting work as a mixed vet at Long Stratton, shortly after the practice had moved to its new facility on Wellesley Road. In 2004 Leslie became a director of the company and now divides her time between running the small animal clinic and carrying out routine and emergency equine calls. Leslie is also one of the trained equine anaesthetists. Leslie spends her few moments of freedom each week with the love of her life Whistler her dog.
Heidi Paddy BSc BA VetMB MRCVS
Assistant, Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon
Heidi qualified from Cambridge Veterinary School in 2008 and is the newest addition to the Chapelfield Team, having started at the end of September 2008. Before Vet School she completed a 3 year degree in Biological and Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Exeter, meaning that she is not just the typical new graduate! Originally from Cornwall, Heidi enjoys work with all species particularly the large animal and equine side, and is hoping to develop her skills much further in these fields over the next few months. When not in work Heidi can be found driving large vehicles dressed in camouflage gear, kayaking or horse riding. Heidi has a very handsome greyhound called Frosty who used to be a dog blood donor.
Reception/Dispensary

Wendy Tholen
Reception
Wendy Tholen joined Chapelfield Vets in September 2003. She is a Cordon Bleu, married to a Master of Wine, and they share their home witha large number of batty animals.

Ticky Smith
Reception/Nurse
Ticky always wanted to be a Veterinary Nurse, (cake decorating was another possibility, but due to her self confessed artistic (dis)ability it wasn't to be!). Ticky completed her National diploma in animal care at Easton College before joining Chapelfield vets where she gained her Veterinary Nurse qualification. Ticky's enthusiasm is evident when you ask her about the job ‘I just love working with animals, always have and I think I always will'.
Jodie Goldsmith
Reception
Jodie has been working at Chapelfield Vets Long Stratton and Brooke branches since November 2008. Jodie has always loved animals so being able to work with them daily is something she takes great pleasure in. Jodie has had a range of animals over the years and currently owns two guinea pigs who live in the front room during winter and roam the Garden in the warmer months.
